The Brazilian Room is located in the heart of Tilden Park in the Berkeley Hills. Getting to the location can be a bit tricky, but the setting is definitely worth it! We'll do our best to point you in the right direction.
First, you'll need to get to Memorial Stadium (Go Bears!) in Berkeley. The stadium is on Gayley Road to the east of the University campus. Turn onto Stadium Rim Way, which is between the Greek Theater and the stadium. Mapquest should help you to get this far. Stadium Rim Way leads up behind the stadium. At the stop sign at the top, make a left onto Centennial Drive. Centennial will take you up, up, up, past the Botanical Gardens and the Lawrence Hall of Science.
After the Lawrence Hall of Science, you'll come to a stop sign at the edge of Tilden Park. Go straight, and you're now on the map at left. Follow the edge of the golf course, making a right onto Shasta Road at the northwest corner of the course. Once you're on Shasta Road, keep an eye on your left, and after about a half mile you'll see the Brazilian Room!
The park is fairly well stocked with signs and friendly faces should you lose your way.
